This exciting high security solution, incorporating four unique patents pending on the sashlock and two on the deadlock, has been developed with uncompromising levels of physical security. These include a 22mm deadlocking hardened saw and drill resistant hook bolt incorporating an anti-jemmy hookbolt design locking the door into the frame to combat today’s criminal. The unique deadlocking latchbolt feature on the sashbolt provides the added benefit of dual point locking. An easifit microswitch, available separately, allows the lock to be used in conjunction with alarms and other electronic equipment, patent pending. The Chubb Viper deadlock and sashlock are police and insurance industry approved and, for commercial applications or when insurance approval is not critical, they are available in a lockcase only format. The locks are quick and simple to install and the Viper is the first mortice lock range to combine accreditation to BS3621, the police and insurance industry approved standard for theft resistant locks, with compliance to BS8600 to ensure ease of access for all. Also, both locks conform to the highest security grade within European Standard EN12209 and carry the CE mark for use on fire door applications.
