Door Locks

Nightlatches
A lock which is mounted onto the surface of the door as opposed to being morticed into the edge of the door. A nightlatch holds the door shut on a latch which can often be deadlocked into position.

Lever Rim Locks
Rim lever locks are mounted onto the surface of the door for use on internal doors, gates or outbuildings

Mortice Latches
Tubular, flat pattern, upright and mortice nightlatches operated by handles, key or cylinder.

Mortice Sashlocks
Mortice locks with latchbolts operated by handle and deadbolts operated by key or cylinder.

Mortice Deadlocks
Locks morticed into the door with a deadbolt operated by a key from both sides of the door. Includes lever and cylinder operated deadlocks.

Escape Locks
Locks that allow exit without the use of a key. Including Emergency exit escape locks.

Metal Door Locks
Normally used with metal doors or narrow stile patio doors.

Multipoint Locking
Describes a type of lock mechanism that has more than one locking point. It usually has a minimum of three locking points (plus latch) spread strategically over the length of the door. Multi-point locks are typically used on PVCu or composite doors.
